hey i have the same problem I was looking trought the web fro a really good product but all the products have a lot of advertising and I tried everything that is for acne but nothing worked, so I found this really good page where said the true about products that are in store, so becareful and read the whole page.
then link to the acne product review you will find out that many products can contain certain ingredients like benzoyl peroxide that can cause skin cancer.

After you wash your face use an astrigent such as Sea Breeze to help remove excess dirt and oil that washing leaves behing. Forget the stridex pads and use a cream such as clearasil. I used stridex pads when I had acne real bad and they didn’t do anything. Anytime I have one or two pimples to pop up I put a little clearasil on them and they are gone within two days. If this doesn’t help you might have to see a dermatologist to get a perscriptive cream. Do continue with the Biore strips.

Benzoyl peroxide is great for acne. It helps heal what is there and helps prevent. I use oxy 10 and have found a soap with benzoyl peroxide in it as well, I think the oxy 10 works the best though.
